Solidarietà ai camionisti coreani
contro la repressione padronale e governativa!
Il governo coreano, che ha fatto arrestare il presidente del sindacato KCTU in vista dello sciopero generale del 20 ottobre, ha ora mandato 3.600 poliziotti ad attaccare gli autisti di camion in sciopero contro il gruppo SPC (prodotti da forno) che ha stracciato due accordi sindacali firmati da pochi mesi; hanno arrestato più di 100 lavoratori membri del sindacato dei trasporti KPTU-TruckSol.
È un attacco pesantissimo, con il quale lo Stato “democratico”(!) usa il suo monopolio della forza per sostenere i padroni contro i lavoratori che si uniscono per difendere le proprie condizioni dallo sfruttamento da parte del capitale.
In Corea come in Italia e in tutto il mondo i governi sostengono i padroni contro i lavoratori.
Ancora nell’ultimo mese nei pressi di Milano ingenti forze di polizia hanno attaccato a più riprese i picchetti dei lavoratori dei magazzini UNES, sospesi dal lavoro da oltre un mese perché hanno scioperato.
Non solo: hanno anche consegnato a 13 lavoratori dei fogli di via che impediscono loro di recarsi nei luoghi di lavoro, violando il loro diritto a protestare e a lavorare.
La perseveranza per più di unmese nella lotta, e la solidarietà degli altri lavoratori, ha costretto l’azienda al tavolo di trattativa, come sta avvenendo anche per i lavoratori licenziati dalla Fedex a Piacenza, dopo mesi di lotta.
Il SI Cobas esprime piena solidarietà al sindacato KPTU-TruckSol, che ha saputo unire migliaia di camionisti nonostante le grosse difficoltà che presenta questo settore, anche in Italia, e ne ha organizzato la lotta.
Chiediamo l’immediata liberazione degli arrestati e denunciamo il brutale attacco del governo coreano alla sacrosanta lotta dei lavoratori e al loro sindacato combattivo.
Promuoviamo iniziative di solidarietà internazionale con i lavoratori coreani di KPTU-TruckSol e con la KCTU, il 20 ottobre davanti alle ambasciate/consolati della Corea!

Riportiamo la traduzione di un comunicato del sindacato KPTU:
Continua lo sciopero della KPTU-TruckSol [sindacato dei trasporti che fa parte della confederazione KCTU] contro la SPC (una delle più grandi catene di prodotti da forno coreane) iniziato il 15 settembre.
La SPC deve cessare il comportamento antisindacale nei confronti della giusta richiesta del sindacato di rispettare l’accordo.
Lo sciopero iniziato il 15 contro le ripetute violazioni degli accordi sindacali da parte della SPC e i licenziamenti di massa (risoluzione del contratto) sta continuando a livello nazionale.
Finora più di 100 membri del sindacato sono stati arrestati dalla polizia, e sono stati emessi mandati di arresto per un detenuto (membro del KPTU-TruckSol) e tre funzionari del KPTU-TruckSol.
Il 26, 3.600 agenti di polizia sono stati dispiegati in una delle fabbriche della SPC per permettere all’azienda di consegnare la farina di grano, ma l’azienda non ha risposto alla richiesta del sindacato di negoziare.
Negli ultimi 10 anni, le vendite della SPC sono state in continua crescita, in particolare il settore della distribuzione.
Nonostante l’aumento dei carichi di lavoro, i lavoratori dei trasporti che hanno permesso la crescita della CSP ricevono la stessa paga da 10 anni e soffrono ancora per le cattive condizioni di lavoro.
Vengono al lavoro all’una del mattino, lavorano 12 ore al giorno e devono aspettare dalle 3 alle 4 ore nel camion vicino alle fabbriche senza avere un luogo di riposo.
Hanno il permesso di prendere solo quattro giorni di riposo al mese, e se prendono più di quattro giorni, saranno detratti dai giorni di riposo del mese successivo.
Inoltre i lavoratori hanno sopportato un carico di lavoro eccessivo con il carico/scarico di sei-settecento pagnotte di pane ogni giorno.
Per migliorare la situazione, la KPTU-TruckSol era stata al tavolo delle trattative con la SPC, e finalmente era riuscita a migliorare le pessime condizioni di lavoro dei lavoratori negli ultimi due anni.
Tuttavia, dal luglio 2020 la SPC ha continuato a violare un accordo firmato con la filiale KPTU-TruckSol DaeguKyeongbuk.
Un altro accordo è stato firmato nell’aprile 2021, ma la SPC ha violato di nuovo l’accordo.
Dopo la prima violazione, ci sono state delle rinegoziazioni e il secondo accordo è stato firmato il 1° giugno, ma la SPC ha violato l’accordo ripetutamente.
Il 27 giugno, c’è stato un altro accordo per aumentare i camion tra la KPTU-TruckSol e la SPC e le imprese di trasporto.
Tuttavia, il 2 settembre la SPC ha notificato unilateralmente la rescissione dell’accordo, affermando di non poter adempiere a quegli accordi perché il responsabile era stato sostituito, e il 16 settembre la SPC ha notificato la rescissione del contratto di lavoro ai membri del KPTU-TruckSol che hanno
partecipato agli scioperi.
Nel frattempo, a giugno, la SPC ha notificato a 8 imprese di trasporto di risarcire i danni dovuti agli scioperi del 12 aprile e del 1° giugno.
Ha anche chiesto il risarcimento dei danni a 270 membri della filiale KPTU-TruckSol SPC, da 150 USD a 700 USD rispettivamente in luglio.
Che alla SPC piaccia o no, in quanto datore di lavoro, la SPC ha il dovere di rispettare gli accordi raggiunti attraverso i negoziati con le imprese di trasporto e un sindacato.
La SPC deve smettere immediatamente di attaccare il KPTU-TruckSol e i membri del sindacato, e deve invece rispettare gli accordi firmati da tre parti: la SPC, le aziende di trasporto e il KPTU-TruckSol.
KPTU e KPTU-TruckSol hanno in programma una grande manifestazione con tutti gli operatori sindacali il 30 settembre.
Solidarity to Korean truck drivers
against employer and government repression!
The Korean government, which had the president of the KCTU union arrested ahead of the general strike on 20 October, has now sent 3,600 police to attack truck drivers on strike against the SPC group (a large bakery products chain), which has cancelled two union agreements signed a few months ago; they have arrested more than 100 workers who are members of the KPTU-TruckSol transport union.
This is a very serious attack, in which the ‘democratic'(!) state uses its monopoly of force to support the bosses against workers who have united to defend their conditions from exploitation by capital.
In Korea, as in Italy and all over the world, governments support the bosses against workers.
In the last month again, near Milan, large police forces have repeatedly attacked the pickets of the UNES warehouse workers, who have been suspended from work for over a month mbecause they went on strike.
Not only that, but they also served 13 workers orders preventing them from reaching their workplaces, violating their right to work and protest.
Their perseverance for more than a month in the struggle, and the solidarity of the other workers, forced the company to the negotiation table, as is also happening with the workers fired by Fedex in Piacenza, after months of struggle.
SI Cobas expresses full solidarity with the KPTU-TruckSol union, which has been able to unite thousands of truck drivers despite the great difficulties that this sector presents, also in Italy, and has organised the struggle.
We call for the immediate release of those arrested and condemn the Korean government’s brutal attack on the workers’ rightful struggle and their combative union.
Let’s take solidarity initiatives with the Korean workers of KPTU-TruckSol and the KCTU on 20 October in front of the embassies/consulates of Korea!

KPTU-TruckSol strike against SPC (one of Korean largest bakery chains) began on 15th September continues.
SPC should stop anti-union behaviors on the trade union’s righteous demand to fulfill agreement now.
The strike started on the 15th against SPC’s repeated breach of the CBAs and mass layoffs (termination of contract) is continuing nationwide.
So far, more than 100 members have been arrested by the police, and warrants for one detainee (KPTU-TruckSol member) and three of KPTU-TruckSol officials are issued.
On the 26th, 3,600 police officers were deployed in one of SPC factories so that the company could deliver wheat flour, but the company has not responded to the union’s call for negotiation.
For the last 10 years, the sales of SPC have been growing continuously, in particular, the distribution sector.
Despite increased workload, the transport workers who enabled the growth of the SPC are receiving the same payment for 10 years and still suffering from poor working conditions.
They come to work at 1:00 in the morning, work 12 hours a day, and have to wait 3 to 4 hours in the truck nearby to the factories without having a rest facility.
They are only allowed to take four days off a month, and if they take more than four days, it will be deducted from the next month’s day offs.
Also the workers have endured excessive workload with loading/unloading six to seven hundred loaves of bread every day.
In order to improve the situation, the KPTU-TruckSol had been at the negotiation table with SPC, and it finally was able to improve poor working conditions of the workers for the last two years.
However, SPC has continued to breach an agreement signed with the KPTU-TruckSol DaeguKyeongbuk branch since July 2020.
Another agreement was signed in April 2021, but SPC breached the agreement again.
After the 1st breach, there were re-negotiations and the second agreement was signed on 1st June, but SPC broke the agreement repeatedly.
On 27th June, there was another agreement to increase trucks between the KPTU-TruckSol and SPC and the transport companies.
However, SPC unilaterally notified annulment of the agreement on 2nd September, saying that it cannot fulfill those agreements because the person in charge was replaced, and on 16th September SPC notified contract termination to the KPTU-TruckSol members who participated in strikes.
In the meantime, in June, SPC notified 8 transport companies to compensate for damages due to strikes staged on 12th April and 1st June.
It also claimed compensation for damages to 270 KPTU-TruckSol SPC branch members, from 150 USD to 700 USD respectively in July.
Whether SPC likes it or not, as an economic employer, SPC has a duty to respect agreements reached through negotiations with transport companies and a trade union.
SPC should stop attacking the KPTU-TruckSol and the union members immediately, rather, SPC should fulfill the agreements signed by three parties of SPC, transport companies and KPTU-TruckSol.
KPTU and KPTU-TruckSol are scheduled to stage a large-scale rally with all union officials on 30th September.
