Riceviamo e pubblichiamo questo contributo dai compagni della redazione Il Pungolo Rosso, già disponibile sul loro sito (vedi qui):
Dopo aver aggredito gli studenti della statale di Milano e, in tono minore, quelli della Sapienza a Roma accampati in solidarietà con la Palestina, ora i “Lotta comunista” fanno la parte dei calunniati. Sennonché la loro auto-difesa non fa altro che confermare le ragioni di chi, come noi, ne ha denunciato l’azione.
Scriviamo questa replica anche per quegli operai e quei giovani che hanno aderito a questa organizzazione scambiandola per quella che non è – ci è stata fatta questa raccomandazione da compagni che di recente si sono liberati dalla cappa di piombo di LC e la accettiamo. Il nostro linguaggio sarà diretto, pane al pane, vino al vino, ma entra nel merito delle questioni fondamentali che non possono essere scansate da chi voglia realmente confrontarsi. Inoltre, non abbiamo alcun problema a pubblicare in coda i testi dei LC per chi voglia verificarne il contenuto, e la precisa pertinenza di quanto sosteniamo.
In modo schematico:
1. A Gaza, e da un secolo in Palestina, non è in atto, come vuole LC, “una guerra” non meglio identificata, una guerra qualsiasi. È in atto una guerra coloniale, imperialista, agita prima dalle forze sioniste in combutta con l’imperialismo britannico, poi dallo stato di Israele, sostenuto dall’intero campo dell’imperialismo occidentale (e per qualche tempo anche dalla Russia di Stalin), contro la popolazione palestinese nativa, per cacciarla dalla sua terra e/o schiacciarla nella sua terra. Se si nega questo, o si tace su questo, si diventa oggettivamente complici dei colonialisti e degli imperialisti che tormentano e massacrano il popolo palestinese. Nei testi diffusi da LC, inclusi quelli di replica agli attacchi ricevuti in questi giorni, non troverete mai la qualifica coloniale, imperialista di questa guerra (o aggressione al popolo palestinese, che dir si voglia).
2. A Gaza, come riconosciuto perfino da organismi ultra-istituzionali come la Corte penale internazionale e la Corte di giustizia internazionale, è in corso un vero e proprio genocidio di palestinesi. Oltre al massacro di decine di migliaia di civili, un numero in continua crescita, c’è la distruzione sistematica dei presupposti per la sopravvivenza di quanti sopravviveranno (abitazioni, acqua, fognature, scuole, etc.). Nei testi diffusi da LC prima e dopo le aggressioni di questi giorni non troverete mai la parola genocidio: è forse una parola che gli fa orrore come fa orrore a Netanyahu? A loro la risposta. In realtà, per chi vuole leggere bene, la risposta c’è già: per i LC la borghesia israeliana è solo “fallimentare” (l’unica qualifica che troviamo), né colonialista, né genocida; mentre le espressioni più aggressive in senso dispregiativo sono riservate alla resistenza palestinese qualificata come “pazzia terrorista” o “terrorismo reazionario di Hamas e compari”. In questo scontro tra una potenza coloniale genocidaria e un popolo senza stato che si difende come può, l’elemento folle e reazionario è il popolo che si difende. Questi “comunisti” (o anti-comunisti? Fate voi) se la prendono se li si accusa di filo-sionismo, ma gli argomenti li danno loro, con la loro pratica, le loro “analisi”, il loro linguaggio.
3. I LC sostengono di essere “francamente anti-nazionalisti”, ma non gli scappa mai, neppure per sbaglio, una parola chiara e forte contro il governo Meloni (mai citato nei loro testi), contro lo stato italiano (idem), contro l’imperialismo italiano (idem), contro l’industria della guerra italiana (idem). Già vent’anni fa i compagni e le compagne che hanno dato vita a “Pagine marxiste” denunciarono la loro farlocca elaborazione sull’“imperialismo europeo” come un modo opportunistico per non battersi contro l’imperialismo italiano. Anti-nazionalisti lo sono, quando si tratta del nazionalismo degli oppressi della Palestina, che ha un’indubbia valenza rivoluzionaria in quanto va a colpire e delegittimare l’intera impalcatura del blocco Israele-Occidente tutt’ora dominante nel mondo, ma non lo sono se si tratta del nazionalismo del “proprio” paese, un paese imperialista, l’Italia, dalla a alla zeta reazionario. Internazionalisti i LC? Ma dai! Sono così internazionalisti che parlando di “casa propria” sistematicamente dimenticano di essere in Italia, così presbiti che non vedono Piantedosi, Crosetto, Leonardo, Fincantieri… Nei loro testi di questi giorni non troverete mai la parola NATO. Non è stupefacente?
4. Troverete, invece, la rivendicazione della “nostra attività di volontariato, di solidarietà verso i migranti e gli ultimi in questa società” come prova del loro “internazionalismo”. Ma chi li conosce da vicino sa che questa attività, analogamente a quella dei volontari di Sant’Egidio o della Caritas, è intrisa di paternalismo bianco, e diserta sistematicamente tutti i momenti di lotta, di auto-organizzazione per la lotta, dei proletari e delle proletarie immigrati. Da quindici anni un settore del proletariato immigrato, anzitutto nella logistica, si è reso protagonista, con il SI Cobas e altre componenti del sindacalismo combattivo, di un ciclo di lotte che è costato morti, un’infinità di attacchi della polizia e dei carabinieri, migliaia di denunce, uno stillicidio di licenziamenti politici, arresti, fogli di via, etc. – ebbene, dov’erano questi “internazionalisti” a parole solidali con i “migranti”? Erano acquartierati al sicuro dentro gli uffici della CGIL, che insieme ai suoi compari di CISL e UIL, ha operato sistematicamente per isolare queste lotte e favorirne, nell’isolamento, la sconfitta (che ci sia riuscita o meno, è altra cosa). Non abbiamo mai visto un LC di numero alla difesa di un picchetto di lavoratori immigrati contro gli attacchi di polizia e padroni. Internazionalisti loro? Al più papisti, ma – attenzione – al momento non ci risulta che papa Francesco abbia organizzato i suoi boy scout per assaltare le tende pro-Palestina. Quindi, papisti sì, ma con una certa vocazioncella squadristica, o no?
5. In un’area di sfaccendati che in questa vicenda simpatizzano per LC, e che abbiamo altra volta definito “internazionalisti divani&divani” (ci siamo andati leggeri), ha fatto colpo l’affermazione dei LC secondo cui “la soluzione alla guerra di Gaza come alla guerra di Ucraina (…) sta nell’unità di classe dei lavoratori arabi, palestinesi, israeliani, russi e ucraini, in una battaglia rivoluzionaria insieme ai lavoratori europei, americani, asiatici contro tutte le borghesie.” Un’affermazione apparentemente impeccabile, tale però, appunto, solo in apparenza. Limitiamoci a testarla sulla guerra tra lo stato colonialista e razzista (integralista religioso, dal 2018 anche in modo formale) di Israele e il popolo palestinese oggetto di colonizzazione. Anche noi auspichiamo, inutile a dirsi, la fraternizzazione tra proletariato palestinese (che coincide con la quasi totalità del popolo palestinese, il popolo più proletarizzato della terra) e proletari israeliani. Senonché, qual è l’attuale situazione reale? La risposta la forniscono una serie di indagini statistiche convergenti, riassunte su “The Bullet” dall’ebrea anti-sionista Judy Haiven: il 65% degli ebrei israeliani è contro la nascita di uno stato palestinese; il 68% è contro ogni forma di aiuto umanitario alla popolazione di Gaza; il 55% si oppone ad ogni forma di accordo per porre fine alla guerra; l’81% loda gli Stati Uniti perché sostengono Israele. Sul New York Times di ieri, 26 maggio, Megan Stack nota che “un sondaggio di gennaio ha scoperto che il 94% degli ebrei israeliani ritiene che la forza utilizzata contro Gaza sia adeguata o addirittura insufficiente”. Senza dubbio l’avanguardia di questo orrido movimento sterminista di massa è costituita dai coloni piccoli proprietari, ma – al momento – i soli a muoversi in controtendenza rispetto al genocidio sono, oltre i singoli coraggiosi refusnik o esplicitamente anti-sionisti (molti dei quali costretti, per salvare la pelle, a lasciare Israele), i gruppi studenteschi che stanno animando Standing together. Non sono pervenuti, al momento, segnali di un qualche, anche minimo, rilievo dai proletari ebrei di Israele, rispetto ai quali non possiamo che riprendere e ripetere ciò che è stato già scritto in un testo della TIR sulla sola dinamica in grado di portare ad un loro risveglio di classe:
“Quanto (…) ai “proletari israeliani” a cui si riferiscono con il massimo dell’enfasi gli “internazionalisti” da divani&divani, essi daranno prova di esistere per davvero come proletari solo separandosi dai propri governanti – quella prova che finora non hanno dato, e dalla quale dipenderà la salvezza del loro onore. Da tempo la società israeliana ha cominciato a dividersi apertamente lungo linee di classe. Una dozzina di anni fa ci furono dimostrazioni di massa di lavoratori salariati contro l’austerità. Del resto, per quanti sostegni si ricevano dall’estero, non è possibile il militarismo più sfrenato, l’illimitato sviluppo dell’industria della morte, senza la corrispondente compressione delle spese necessarie per la protezione della vita sociale. Nei mesi scorsi ci sono state proteste di piazza di dimensioni ancora maggiori contro il processo di accentramento dei poteri e di vera e propria fascistizzazione. Ma la denuncia dell’oppressione dei palestinesi è rimasta finora riservata ad una sparuta minoranza di singoli coraggiosi, senza mai vedere una presenza organizzata di gruppi di proletari. Davvero è il caso di dire loro: qui ed ora dovrete dimostrare se siete uomini e donne liberi o schiavi associati agli schiavisti!
“La fine della subordinazione dei “proletari israeliani” al sionismo non sarà né un processo semplice né breve, prodotto da un’opera di convincimento ideologico o morale. Il colonialismo di Israele, i massicci aiuti finanziari dall’estero per sostenere il suo ruolo di massimo garante dell’ordine imperialistico nell’area, hanno permesso vantaggi e privilegi per gli stessi proletari israeliani che si sono consolidati nel tempo. Questo spiega, almeno in parte, perché l’antisionismo in Israele sia oggi merce rara, riservato a pochi individui con scarso o nessun seguito di massa. Ma spiega anche perché il possibile rafforzamento di una opposizione reale interna all’occupazione coloniale presuppone non l’attesa messianica del “risveglio” degli sfruttati israeliani ma, al contrario, l’intensificazione della resistenza palestinese all’occupazione e la lotta senza quartiere per l’autodeterminazione nazionale e l’emancipazione sociale. Solo questa lotta, e la lotta degli sfruttati medio-orientali, potrà “mettere in moto” dentro Israele le forze potenzialmente ostili al sionismo, forze che l’infame regime tiene incatenate a sé con i miseri privilegi del colonialismo. Ed è solo all’interno di questa prospettiva di resistenza e di attacco alla macchina del dominio sionista che acquista legittimità l’interrogarsi sui compiti programmatici di questa resistenza, e su quali debbano essere i corretti modi di condurla anche sotto l’aspetto specificamente militare. Altrimenti è evasione, fuga dal compito prioritario dell’oggi che è il pieno sostegno alla resistenza palestinese, e la denuncia instancabile del ruolo del governo Meloni, dello stato, dell’apparato militare e propagandistico italiani nel favorire il genocidio dei palestinesi e la tragedia di una seconda Nakba.”
Non troverete nulla di tutto ciò, neppure per sbaglio, nell’azione e nei testi di LC. Sono evasori di mestiere, falsari professionali. “Internazionalisti” che screditano l’internazionalismo autentico. “Internazionalisti”, tanto per capirci, che ai tempi dell’aggressione contro l’Iraq, con l’Italia pienamente partecipe, si rifiutarono in modo categorico di partecipare a qualsiasi iniziativa contro l’intervento dell’Italia nella guerra. Chiaro? Chi oggi li difende, anche solo a metà, pretendendo di essere “internazionalista”, dovrebbe vergognarsi.
Ma ne avete visti di più ciechi di costoro, gli “internazionalisti” fan di LC? Blaterano di “internazionalismo”, e neppure si accorgono che la fiera resistenza palestinese all’aggressione sterminista di Israele e di tutto l’Occidente ha fatto nascere un movimento non solo internazionale ma nel suo spirito decisamente internazionalista, che è vivo, vivissimo in mezzo mondo. Blaterano di proletari arabi, e non vedono che gli sfruttati dello Yemen, della Giordania, del Libano, dell’Iraq e – appena possono infrangere le maglie dei loro dispotici regimi – anche degli altri paesi arabi stanno manifestando a milioni da sette mesi contro la complicità dei propri regimi e sollecitando le formazioni armate a venire in aiuto ai loro fratelli palestinesi. Blaterano di leninismo, ma Lenin, nemico giurato dello sciovinismo delle grandi potenze (inclusa la Russia, ciò che non gli perdona Putin), li avrebbe randellati senza pietà, come fece a suo tempo con tanti suoi compagni di partito, incluso un certo Stalin.
6. Falsari professionali i LC lo sono anche in riferimento ai recenti avvenimenti. Scrivono: “Noi, giovani di L.C., in questi mesi non abbiamo mai impedito o attaccato le manifestazioni contro la guerra a Gaza”. Vero, e – insieme – spudoratamente falso.
Vero che non abbiano impedito o attaccato “le manifestazioni” – chi lo sa, noi almeno non lo sappiamo, forse ci avevano pensato; ma impedire, magari con il volonteroso supporto della Brigata ebraica, la manifestazione del 24 febbraio a Milano, oppure anche manifestazioni minori, non sarebbe stato tanto agevole. Forse, neppure attaccarle. E tuttavia l’attacco all’acampada di Milano-statale c’è stato davvero, in due tornate, come quello di Roma (seppure in tono minore): ci sono le testimonianze degli studenti aggrediti e i video su Fanpage e sul Fatto quotidiano, giornali non certo nostri amici.Vero che non fossero giovani i bodyguard, ma se appartenevano alla struttura sindacale di LC invece che ai “giovani” di LC, cosa cambia? Prova semmai la programmazione centrale di questa odiosa attività. Non ci interessa se l’hanno fatto di loro “spontanea” volontà, o meno – bastano, restano i fatti, che parlano da soli.
7. Notevole, infine, la lode degli “studenti veri”, quelli che studiano sodo (cosa? E per cosa?), e non perdono le loro giornate per provare a spezzare i legami tra le loro università e le università del genocidio sionista. Argomenti da rettori reazionari, da maggioranza silenziosa, da masnadieri alla Feltri o alla Giuliano Ferrara. Anche noi, ovviamente, abbiamo in grande considerazione lo studio. Ma quando siamo intervenuti nelle assemblee degli studenti occupanti, li abbiamo sollecitati a studiare più a fondo il colonialismo di insediamento sionista, la sua storia, i suoi padrini, i suoi metodi; a studiare più a fondo l’imperialismo, il capitalismo, il capitalismo italiano, i suoi interessi, le sue proiezioni internazionali, le sue alleanze, la sua demagogica propaganda islamofobica e arabofobica; a studiare più a fondo la storia della secolare resistenza palestinese, del suo orgoglio e delle sue sconfitte, le diverse componenti di essa; a studiare più a fondo la vicenda delle piccole minoranze proletarie anti-sioniste che hanno saputo collegarsi con la resistenza palestinese; a conoscere la risoluzione per molti versi profetica che la Terza Internazionale produsse nel 1925 sulle tragiche prospettive della colonizzazione della Palestina, etc. A studiare per rafforzare le ragioni della loro lotta, dando alimento e solidità al loro spontaneo sentirsi solidali con i palestinesi e la loro lotta di liberazione. Anche a costo di non essere gli “studenti modello”, gli “studenti veri” cari ai tutori dell’ordine universitario (e sociale) e ai LC.
Slander against “Lotta comunista” (Communist Struggle)? What slander?
After attacking the students of the University of Milan and, to a lesser extent, those of the Sapienza University of Rome camped in solidarity with Palestine, now the “Lotta Comunista” (LC’s) are playing the part of the slandered. However, their self-defense only confirms the reasons of those who, like us, denounced their action.
We are also writing this reply for those workers and young people who have joined this organization mistaking it for what it is not – This recommendation has been made to us by comrades who have recently freed themselves from LC’s lead cloak and we accept it. Our language will be direct, bread to bread, wine to wine, but it goes into the merits of the fundamental issues that cannot be avoided by those who really want to confront each other. In addition, we have no problem publishing the texts of the LC’s at the end for those who want to personally verify their content, and the precise relevance of what we claim.
Schematically:
1. In Gaza, and for a century in Palestine, there is not, as LC wants, an unidentified “war”, just any war. A colonial, imperialist war has been and is taking place, waged first by Zionist forces in cahoots with British imperialism, then by the state of Israel, supported by the US and the entire camp of Western imperialism (and for some time also by Stalin’s Russia), against the native Palestinian population, in order to drive them off their land and/or crush them in their land. If you deny this, or remain silent about it, you objectively become accomplices of the colonialists and imperialists who torment and massacre the Palestinian people. In the texts released by LC, including those in response to the attacks received in recent days, you will never find the colonial, imperialist qualification of this war (or aggression against the Palestinian people, if you prefer).
2. In Gaza, as recognized even by ultra-institutional bodies such as the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, a real genocide of Palestinians is taking place. In addition to the massacre of tens of thousands of civilians, a number that continues to grow, there is the systematic destruction of the conditions for the survival of those who will survive (housing, water, sewage, schools, etc.). In the texts released by LC before and after the attacks of these days, you will never find the word genocide: is it a word that horrifies them as it horrifies Netanyahu? The answer is up to them. In reality, for those who want to read well, the answer is already there: for the LC the Israeli bourgeoisie is only “bankrupt” (the only qualification we find), neither colonialist nor genocidal; while the most aggressive expressions in a derogatory sense are reserved for the Palestinian resistance qualified as “terrorist madness” or “reactionary terrorism of Hamas and its cronies”. In this clash between a genocidal colonial power and a stateless people who defend themselves as best they can, the insane and reactionary element is the people who defend themselves. These “communists” (or anti-communists? You name it.) take offence if they are accused of being pro-Zionist, but are precisely they who give the arguments, with their practice, their “analyses”, their language.
3. The LC claim to be “frankly anti-nationalist”, but they never, even by accident, utter a clear and strong word against the Meloni government (never mentioned in their texts), against the Italian state (ditto), against Italian imperialism (ditto), against the Italian war industry (ditto). Already twenty years ago, the comrades who gave life to “Pagine marxiste” denounced their farcical elaboration on “European imperialism” as an opportunistic way of not fighting against Italian imperialism. They are anti-nationalists when it comes to the nationalism of the oppressed of Palestine, which has an undoubted revolutionary value as it strikes and delegitimizes the entire scaffolding of the Israeli-West bloc still dominant in the world, but they are not anti-nationalists when it comes to the nationalism of “their” country, an imperialist country, Italy, from a to z reactionary. Internationalists the LC? Come on! They are so internationalists that when they speak of “their own home” they systematically forget that they are in Italy, so farsighted that they do not see Piantedosi, Crosetto, Leonardo, Fincantieri… You will never find the word NATO in their texts these days. Isn’t that amazing?
4. Instead, you will find the claim of “our volunteer activity, of solidarity with migrants and the least in this society” as proof of their “internationalism”. But those who know them closely know that this activity, similarly to that of the volunteers of Sant’Egidio or Caritas, is steeped in white paternalism, and systematically deserts all moments of struggle, of self-organization for the struggle, of the immigrant proletarians and proletarians. For fifteen years, a sector of the immigrant proletariat, especially in logistics, has been the protagonist, together with the SI Cobas and other components of combative trade unionism, of a cycle of struggles that has cost deaths, an infinite number of attacks by the police and carabinieri, thousands of complaints, a trickle of political dismissals, arrests, expulsion notices, etc. – Well, where were these “internationalists” in solidarity with the “migrants”? They were safely quartered inside the offices of the CGIL, which together with its comrades from CISL and UIL, worked systematically to isolate these struggles and favor, in isolation, their defeat (whether it succeeded or not, it is another matter). We have never seen a number LC defending a picket of immigrant workers against attacks by police and bosses. Internationalists them? At most papist, but – mind you – at the moment we do not know that Pope Francis has organized his boy scouts to attack the pro-Palestine tents. So, papists yes, but with a certain squadron vocation, or not?
5. In an area of idlers who sympathize with LC in this affair, and whom we have once defined as “sofa&sofa internationalists” (we went lightly), the LC’s statement was very much liked that “the solution to the Gaza war as to the war in Ukraine (…) it lies in the class unity of Arab, Palestinian, Israeli, Russian and Ukrainian workers, in a revolutionary struggle together with European, American and Asian workers against all bourgeoisies.” An apparently impeccable statement, but only in appearance. Let’s limit ourselves to testing it on the war between the colonialist and racist state of Israel (religious fundamentalist, since 2018 also in a formal way) and the Palestinian people who are the object of colonization. Needless to say, we too hope for fraternization between the Palestinian proletariat (which coincides with almost the entire Palestinian people, the most proletarianized people on earth) and the Israeli proletarians. However, what is the current real situation? The answer is provided by a series of converging statistical surveys, summarized in The Bullet by the anti-Zionist Jew Judy Haiven: 65% of Israeli Jews are against the birth of a Palestinian state; 68% are against all forms of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza; 55% oppose any form of agreement to end the war; 81% praise the United States for supporting Israel. In the New York Times of yesterday, May 26, Megan Stack notes that “a January poll found that 94 percent of Israeli Jews believe the force used against Gaza is adequate or even insufficient.” Undoubtedly, the vanguard of this horrid mass extermination movement is made up of the smallholder settlers, but – at the moment – the only ones to move against the genocide are, apart from the individual courageous refusniks or explicitly anti-Zionists (many of whom were forced, to save their skins, to leave Israel), the student groups that are animating Standing Together. At the moment, there have been no signs of any, even slightest, relevance from the Jewish proletarians of Israel, with respect to whom we can only take up and repeat what has already been written in a text of the TIR (Internationalist Revolutionary Tendency) about the only dynamic capable of leading to their class awakening:
“As regards (…) the “Israeli proletarians” to whom the sofa&sofa ‘internationalists’ refer most emphatically, they will prove that they really exist as proletarians only by separating themselves from their rulers – the proof they have not yet given, and on which the salvation of their honour will depend. For some time now, Israeli society has begun to divide openly along class lines. A dozen years ago there were mass demonstrations by wage workers against austerity. Moreover, no matter how much support one receives from abroad, the most unbridled militarism, the unlimited development of the industry of death, is not possible without the corresponding compression of the expenses necessary for the protection of social life. In recent months, there have been even larger street protests against the process of centralization of power and outright fascistization. But the denunciation of the oppression of the Palestinians has so far remained reserved for a small minority of courageous individuals, without ever seeing an organized presence of proletarian groups. Really it is the case to say to them: here and now you will have to prove whether you are free men and women or slaves associated with slavers!
“The end of the subordination of the ‘Israeli proletarians’ to Zionism will be neither a simple nor a short process, produced by a work of ideological or moral conviction. Israel’s colonialism, the massive financial aid from abroad to support its role as the highest guarantor of the imperialist order in the area, have allowed advantages and privileges for the Israeli proletarians themselves that have been consolidated over time. This explains, at least in part, why anti-Zionism in Israel is now a rare commodity, reserved for a few individuals with little or no mass following. But it also explains why the possible strengthening of a real internal opposition to the colonial occupation presupposes not the messianic expectation of the “awakening” of the exploited Israelis but, on the contrary, the intensification of Palestinian resistance to the occupation and the relentless struggle for national self-determination and social emancipation. Only this struggle, and the struggle of the exploited Middle Easterners, will be able to “set in motion” within Israel the forces potentially hostile to Zionism, forces that the infamous regime keeps chained to itself with the miserable privileges of colonialism and through an unceasing fanatic indoctrination. And it is only within this perspective of resistance and attack on the machine of Zionist domination that it acquires legitimacy to question the programmatic tasks of this resistance, and on what should be the correct ways to conduct it, also from a specifically military point of view. Otherwise it is escapism, an escape from today’s priority task which is full support for the Palestinian resistance, and the tireless denunciation of the role of the Meloni government, the state, the Italian military and propaganda apparatus in favoring the genocide of the Palestinians and the tragedy of a second Nakba.”
You won’t find any of this, even by accident, in LC’s action and texts. They are evaders by trade, professional forgers. “Internationalists” who discredit authentic internationalism. “Internationalists”, just to be clear, who at the time of the Western aggression against Iraq, with Italy fully participating, categorically refused to participate in any initiative against Italy’s intervention in the war. Clear? Those who defend them today, even half-heartedly, claiming to be “internationalists”, should be ashamed.
But have you seen anyone more blind than these, the “internationalists” who are LC fans? They blather about “internationalism”, and they don’t even realize that the fierce Palestinian resistance to the exterminating aggression of Israel and the whole West has given birth to a movement that is not only international but decidedly internationalist in its spirit, which is alive, very much alive in half the world. They blather about Arab proletarians, and they don’t see that the exploited of Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and – as soon as they can break the meshes of their despotic regimes – also of the other Arab countries have been demonstrating by the millions for seven months against the complicity of their own regimes and urging the armed formations to come to the aid of their Palestinian brothers. They blather about Leninism, but Lenin, the sworn enemy of the chauvinism of the great powers (including Russia, of course, which Putin does not forgive him), would have bludgeoned them mercilessly, as he did in his time with so many of his party comrades, including a certain Stalin.
6. LCs are also professional counterfeiters with reference to recent events. They write: “We, the young people of L.C., in recent months have never prevented or attacked the demonstrations against the war in Gaza.” True, and – at the same time – unashamedly false.
It is true that they did not prevent or attack “the demonstrations” – who knows, at least we don’t know, maybe they had thought about it; but preventing, perhaps with the willing support of the Jewish Brigade, the demonstration of February 24 in Milan, or even smaller demonstrations, would not have been so easy. Perhaps, not even attacking them. And yet the attack on the Milan-state acampada really took place, in two rounds, like the one in Rome (albeit in a minor key): there are the testimonies of the students attacked and the videos on Fanpage and Il Fatto quotidiano, newspapers that are certainly not our friends. It is true that the bodyguards were not young, but if they belonged to the LC union structure instead of the LC “youth”, what changes? If anything, it proves the central programming of this hateful activity. We don’t care if they did it “spontaneously” or not – that’s enough, the facts remain and speak for themselves.
7. Finally, the LCs praise the “real students”, those who study hard (what? And for what?) and they don’t waste their days trying to break the ties between their universities and the universities of the Zionist genocide. Arguments of reactionary rectors, of the silent majority, of scoundrels à la Feltri or Giuliano Ferrara. We, of course, also hold study in high regard. But when we intervened in the assemblies of the occupying students, we urged them to study more deeply the Zionist settler colonialism, its history, its godfathers, its methods; to study more deeply imperialism, capitalism, Italian capitalism, its interests, its international projections, its alliances, its demagogic Islamophobic and Arabophobic propaganda; to study more deeply the history of the centuries-old Palestinian resistance, its pride and its defeats, the different components of it; to study more deeply the story of the small anti-Zionist proletarian minorities that have been able to link up with the Palestinian resistance; to know the in many ways prophetic resolution that the Third International produced in 1925 on the tragic prospects of the colonization of Palestine, etc. To study to strengthen the reasons for their struggle, giving nourishment and solidity to their spontaneous feeling of solidarity with the Palestinians and their struggle for liberation. Even at the cost of not being the “model students”, the “real students” dear to the tutors of the university (and social) order and to the LCs.
