CON IL POPOLO UCRAINO
CONTRO LA GUERRA DEGLI IMPERIALISMI
È guerra a tutto campo in terra ucraina. La parola è ai cannoni ai bombardieri ai missili, ai carri armati che avanzano: distruzione e morte. Le forze armate della Russia hanno attaccato da Nord, Est e Sudest l’Ucraina distruggendone le installazioni militari, per invaderne il territorio e insediare un governo filorusso in sostituzione di quello filo-occidentale di Zelensky. O forse per ridurla a una regione della Russia dato che Putin le nega il rango di nazione riconosciutole dai bolscevichi.
In quanto organizzazione di lavoratori provenienti da tutto il mondo, Ucraina compresa, in lotta contro il capitale, che per sua natura è internazionale, siamo contro tutti gli attori di questa guerra e delle sanzioni, condotta ad Est come ad Ovest da potenze imperialiste espressione del capitale, sulla testa di un popolo di 44 milioni di persone che da decenni vive in condizioni di privazioni e sfruttamento, costretto a emigrare (in 7 milioni) per prospettare un futuro ai propri figli.
Aggrediti sono i proletari, aggressori sono tanto la Russia di Putin – fresca della repressione dei lavoratori kazaki insorti e seconda esportatrice di armi al mondo, che manda truppe in mezza Africa in competizione con gli ex colonizzatori europei in difficoltà – quanto tutti gli Stati aderenti alla NATO, Italia inclusa, che hanno occupato buona parte dell’ex sfera di influenza russa in Europa orientale e formato una cintura irta di missili e aerei e navi capaci di colpire le città russe.
Siamo per il diritto all’autodeterminazione dei popoli, compreso quello ucraino cui Putin nega la sovranità, e comprese le minoranze, come quella russa in Ucraina, che è stata privata del diritto di esprimersi nella propria lingua. Ma siamo contro il nazionalismo al seguito dei carri imperialisti, sia quello russo (è stato il supernazionalista partito “comunista” russo a tirare la volata a Putin proponendo il riconoscimento delle “repubbliche” del Donbass), sia quello ucraino che si è prestato ad essere una pedina in mano alla NATO.
In quanto lavoratori in Italia, ci opponiamo alla partecipazione del governo Italiano alla guerra delle armi, all’invio promesso dal ministro della Difesa di altri mille uomini e armi oltre agli alpini e cacciabombardieri già presenti in Lettonia e Romania, e alla guerra delle sanzioni, che saranno subite dai lavoratori russi come da quelli italiani, che già stanno pagando il conflitto con gli aumenti di gas, elettricità e benzina.
- Denunciamo l’invasione russa dell’Ucraina che ha per scopo la sottomissione di quel popolo all’imperialismo russo.
- Solidarietà internazionalista con i giovani e lavoratori che in Russia manifestano contro la guerra sfidando la repressione.
- Manifestiamo contro la guerra dove i capitalisti scagliano i proletari gli uni contro gli altri come carne da macello, per i propri interessi di sfruttamento.
- Manifestiamo per il ritiro di tutte le truppe italiane all’estero, l’abbattimento delle spese militari.
- NO alla NATO e ai progetti di esercito europeo.
Lavoriamo per formare un fronte di lotta comune dei lavoratori di tutti i paesi contro i capitalisti e i loro governi, contro le spese militari, gli apparati di repressione e gli eserciti, per usare quelle risorse per salute e istruzione!
Per una società senza classi, senza sfruttamento,
dove la globalizzazione significherà collaborazione e non guerra!

Against the War of Imperialisms
For a United Workers’ Front
It is all-out war on Ukrainian soil.
The word is out to the cannons, bombers, missiles and tanks that are advancing: destruction and death. Russia’s armed forces have attacked Ukraine from the north, east and southeast, destroying its military installations in order to invade its territory and install a pro-Russian government to replace Zelensky’s pro-Western one. Or perhaps to reduce it to a region of Russia.
As an organisation of workers from all over the world, including Ukraine, who are fighting against capital, which by its very nature is international, we are against all the agents of this war and sanctions, waged in both East and West by imperialist powers that are the expression of capital, over the heads of a population of 44 million people who have been living for decades in conditions of deprivation and exploitation, forced to emigrate (7 million of them) in order to provide a future for their children.
The proletarians are the aggressed ones, the aggressors are both Putin’s Russia – fresh from the repression of insurgent Kazakh workers and the second largest arms exporter in the world, which sends troops to half of Africa in competition with the former European colonisers in trouble – and all the NATO member states, including Italy, which have occupied a large part of the former Russian sphere of influence in Eastern Europe and formed a belt bristling with missiles and aircraft and ships that can strike Russian cities.
We are for the right to self-determination of peoples, including the Ukrainians, whose “sovereignty” Putin and Lavrov would like to delete, and including minorities, such as the Russians in Ukraine, who have been deprived of the right to express themselves in their own language.
But we are against nationalism in the fold of the imperialist powers, such as the Russian one (it was the supernationalist “Communist” party of Russia that served Putin’s plan by requesting the recognition of the Donbass “republics”), as well as the Ukrainian nationjalism that has lent itself to being a pawn in NATO’s hands.
As workers in Italy, we oppose the participation of the Italian government in the war of arms, the sending of another thousand troops and weapons promised by the Minister of Defence in addition to the Alpine troops and fighter-bombers already present in Latvia and Romania, and the war of sanctions, which will be suffered by Russian workers as well as Italian workers, who are already paying for the
conflict with increases in gas, electricity and petrol prices.
We denounce the Russian invasion of Ukraine whose aim is the submission of that people to Russian imperialism.
We demand the withdrawal of all Italian troops abroad and the slashing of military spending.
We oppose NATO and the idea of a European army with no ifs or buts.
Let’s demonstrate against the war, where the capitalists throw the proletarians against each other as cannon fodder, for their own exploitative interests.
Let’s work to form a common front of struggle of the workers of all countries against the capitalists and their governments, against military spending, repressive apparatuses and armies, to use those resources for health and education!
For a classless society, without exploitation,
where globalisation will mean collaboration and not war!
